Explorations for a world I developed in my head! Pantalea is a world where music, dance and singing all hold magic and it is the primary source for it. A place mostly rural with few big centres, the latter being places ruled/commanded by ones of the "artifacts holder". The artifacts are antique pieces who hold great power and was used (allegedly) by the gods who created the world itself in a great concert ceremony. Today this seems as an old fairy tale for putting children in awe and explain why the common folk can't reproduce the abilities of the artifacts holders. I still want to go back to this project one day!

Huge board I created for this world called Pantalea! So much stories I wrote and I hope to share one day :)

Meara is the Grower, the only character I explored the concept until now.
The Grower is a herbalist, their artifact being connected with plants and life itself, being the great priestess/priest of the Temple of Akrida and also its supreme ruler.
The things associated with them are the dance* and the bells they use for their rituals and performance.

*the inspiration here is bharatanatyam dance and the bells they use in the performance.

These explorations now are more diverted because I wanted to test if a "prayer" and penitence kind of character would suit the story best.
In the end I thought that was too sorrowful for this project, so I didn't go with it.
