✨Jinxed Magic✨ is a project that I developed in the Visual Development and Storytelling course by Monique Alencar! In a world where magic is common, Kanin is a cursed bunny princess who transforms into a slime and enrolls in a magic academy to destroy her curse herself. Along with her friends, she embarks on many adventures involving magic going wrong and a demon with anger issues. This project presentation aimed to make a character presentation resembling an RPG manual page, relying more on lineart and showcasing important info about the character.

Silhouette explorations of the main characters. I wanted them to have a distinct feel from each other and to be recognizable only for their shapes.
Early explorations for Lydia, the Godmother fairy, along with her wand.
Her entire design is moth-inspired. Later in the process (second image), I incorporated some mean girl/school uniforms into the design.
Early explorations for Kanin, the princess. In the beginning, I wanted her to be human-based, with round shapes.
After I gave her this ribbon that looked like bunny ears, I decided to follow this and make her a humanoid bunny/magical being.
Early explorations for Monho, the demon, and his book.
His character is an nerdy demon who tries to not show it off using big clother, sharp pointed pants and everything else to make him look imponent.
